Lancashire Skills and Employment Hub – Skills Programmes Summary

Introduction

 There is a significant amount of funding available in Lancashire through the European Social Fund to support businesses and residents. These projects aim to support people into sustainable employment and to give them the opportunity to progress onto further training. This will improve their confidence and progress at work and increases the efficiency and productivity of the Lancashire workforce.

Below are two of the projects available in Lancashire:-

Skills Support for the Workforce and Skills Support for Redundancy

 This project aims to offers businesses an opportunity to upskill their employees with nationally recognised qualifications which in turn benefits businesses, contributing to a better skilled workforce and supporting economic wellbeing and growth.

Access to Employment

 If you are a business looking to recruit staff or if you are unemployed and you need some help gaining a job, then this project will support you. Being offered by a number of colleges and training providers across Lancashire.
