College Supports Project to Develop Lancashire’s Workforce
Blackburn College is supporting a new programme designed to give Lancashire’s advanced engineering and manufacturing businesses access to free skills training and resources.
Spearheaded by Lancaster University Management School, the Employer Engagement for Skills in Manufacturing and Engineering (EnginE) project has been created to make Lancashire more productive and profitable by providing small and medium-sized businesses with access to workforce development opportunities.
The EnginE project is funded until September 2020 and will see Blackburn College raising the awareness of Apprenticeships and the benefits they offer to SMEs in Lancashire’s advanced engineering and manufacturing sector.
If you would like to know more about how the EnginE project can benefit your business, call 01254 292500; or email EnginE@blackburn.ac.uk.
