Skills Support for the Workforce

The Skills Support for the Workforce project is a European Social Fund (ESF) programme from the Skills Funding Agency (SFA), administered by Lancashire County Council. The aim of the project is to support Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to develop their workforce to meet the needs of business, improving efficiency and effectiveness. A range of programmes can be supported across various subject areas and academic levels dependent on eligibility criteria.

The project is aimed at Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the Lancashire area. SMEs are businesses with less than 250 employees, a balance sheet less than €43m turnover and turnover below €50m.
